Helen E. Greene

Helen E. Greene, 73, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003 in the Donnell House following a 3 ½ year illness. She was born in Washington on November 8, 1929 a daughter of Steve and Anna Maglee Mihalovich. Mrs. Greene was a graduate of Trinity High School, was a member of the Slovenian National Benefit Society and Fairhill Manor Christian Church, Washington. She had worked for many years at Ball Incon as a Ware Inspector. She enjoyed Cooking, Drawing, Word Seek Puzzles, and taking Photographs of her Family. Surviving are two sons, James J. and Daniel D. Greene, both of Washington; a daughter with whom she made her home, Deborah S. Rydzak of Washington; two sisters, Sally Rutan of Washington and Vivian Craig of West Middletown; and seven grandchildren, Joseph, David, Misty, Daniel, Jessica, and Mindy Greene, and Stephen Rydzak. Preceding her in death is a sister, Diane Malinak. Friends of Helen E. Greene, 73, of Washington, who died on July 29, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2003 in Fairhill Manor Christian Church, Montgomery Avenue, Washington, Rev. Dr. David Mansfield officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Albert Gallatin Hospice, 20 Highland Park Drive, Suite # 302, Uniontown, PA 15401.
