Elsie Mae Postlethwait Baker

Elsie Mae Postlethwait Baker, 76, of Claysville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003 in Hillsview Personal Care Home, Claysville, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington on August 3, 1926 a daughter of Fred and Hazel Moore Postlethwait. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and had worked in the Inhalation therapy Department at Washington Hospital for many years. Later serving as a volunteer at the hospital. Mrs. Baker is a member of the West Washington United Methodist Church. Her Husband Charles H. Baker died February 1, 1970. She is survived by a son Dennis Edward Baker of Alabama; a brother George Postlethwait of Prosperity; a sister Virginia Houston of Lone Pine; two grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Baker and one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death are a daughter who died at birth and a brother Ord Postlethwait. Friends of Elsie Mae Postlethwait Baker of Claysville who died Wednesday, July 9. 2003 will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Keith Lohr officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations to West Washington United Methodist Church, 625 Fayette Street, Washington, PA 15301 or Washington Hospital Hospice, Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
