Rose Gersna

Member of St. Hilary Church, Washington Rose Gersna, 78, of Washington, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. She was born December 23, 1924, in Manifold, a daughter of George and Agnes Tomecko Gersna. Miss Gersna was a member of St. Hilary Church in Washington. She was a box maker at Kress Box, Continental Can and Brockway Plant 7, retiring in January 1980, after 35 years of employment. Miss Gersna was a member of National Slovak Society. Surviving are a sister, Ann Murin of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, George Gersna; and a sister, Margaret Dombroski. GERSNA - Friends of Rose Gersna of Washington, who died Sunday, June 29, 2003, will be received from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Hilary Church, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neil as celebrant. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
