Mark Wayne Mccracken

Mark Wayne McCracken, Sr., 49, of Washington, died Monday, August 4, 2008, in Donnell House. He was born September 23, 1958, in Washington, a son of Mary Emma Burnette McCracken, of Washington, and the late Willis “Pete” McCracken. Mr. McCracken attended Washington Schools and was a member of Wolfdale Bible Chapel. He worked at Ruscello Auto Body for many years as an auto body technician and in maintenance at Petro 2 in Claysville. Mr. McCracken loved to fish and hunt. Surviving in addition to his mother, are three sons, Mark Wayne McCracken, Jr., Chris McCracken, and Brian McCracken, all of Washington; a brother, Bruce Lee (Darla) McCracken, of Washington; a sister, Debra Lynn (Richard) Decker, of Essex Junction, Vermont; and four grandchildren, Deion, Jenna, Halley and Haley McCracken, and his best friend and cousin, John. Deceased in addition to his father, are his maternal grandparents, John and Marietta Lattimore and paternal grandparents, John and Harriet Armstrong. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2008, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution to Donnell House, c/o Washington Hospital Hospice, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
