John A. Leposky

Jessop Steel retiree was member of IC Church John A. Leposky Jr., 62, of Waynesburg, died at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, August 18, 2002, in Washington Hospital. He was born January 20, 1940, in Uniontown, a son of the late John A. Sr. and Anna Bednarik Leposky. Mr. Leposky was a graduate of Uniontown schools and had worked more than 37 years at Jessop Steel as a quality control supervisor, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, and St. Vincent DePaul Society. On April 15, 1960, he married Donna Wages, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John A. Leposky III of Shelton, Conn.; three daughters, Kathy Scholz of Shelton, Stephanie Tomasko of Allport and Jacquelyn Bozynski of Cadiz, Ky.; a brother, Raymond Leposky of Washington; a sister, Barbara Furlong of Naples, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren. Deceased is a brother who died in infancy. At the request of the deceased, services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
