Catherine Nevada Mayne Haught

Worked at TacTec and RCA Catherine Nevada Mayne Haught, 77, of Washington, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington, following a brief illness. She was born December 11, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of Thomas Mayne and Elizabeth Nixon Mayne Clemens. Mrs. Haught was a graduate of Trinity High School and was employed at TacTec and RCA. She enjoyed sports and knitting and was very family oriented. In 1944, she married Lindsey Roy Haught, who died in February 1961. Surviving are a son, Larry Haught of Youngwood; a daughter, Cathy Amon of Washington; a sister, Ettie Buffington of Washington; three grandchildren, Brian and Lisa Haught and Mary Amon; and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Thomas Mayne, and a twin brother and sister, Orville and Iva Mayne. HAUGHT - Friends of Catherine Nevada Mayne Haught of Washington, who died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, with the Rev. James McElhaney officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
