E. Lucille Manon

E.Lucille Manon, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, December 11, 2004, unexpectedly in her home. She was born in Lagonda on November 14, 1915, a daughter of John W. and Elizabeth Horn Mounts. Mrs. Manon was a 1933 graduate of Trinity High School and a lifelong member of the Laboratory Presbyterian Church where she had been active in many activities throughout the years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as flower gardening. On January 1, 1934, she married A. Glenn Manon, who died on November 21, 1982. Surviving are, a daughter, Darlene Mersky and her husband Richard of Claysville; a sister Dorothy Meddings of Garden Grove, California; a sister-in-law Mary C. Mounts of Washington; three grandchildren, Glenn P. Mersky of Collegeville, Richard B. Mersky, of Claysville, and Patricia L. Koryak of Gibsonia; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Glenn L., Leland , and Richard C Mersky, Chelsea, Christopher, Andrew, and Kailee Koryak. She is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Howard Mounts. Friends of E. Lucille Manon, 89, of Washington, who died Saturday, December 11, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, where services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. The family requests memorial donations be made to: Love Fund, Laboratory Presbyterian Church, Manse Street, Washington, PA 15301.
