Washington boilermaker
Raymond R. (Bob) Mazon Sr., 63, of Washington, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 26, 2003, in his home.
He was born October 31, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John W. and Ruth G. Koon Mazon.
Mr. Mazon worked as a boilermaker for more than 20 years at Munroe Inc. in Pittsburgh and had been a member of Local 154.
Surviving are his former wife, Leona (Ruth) Mazon of Washington; two sons, Raymond Robert Mazon Jr. and Keith Robert Mazon, both of Washington; five brothers, Ralph and Jack Mazon of Washington, David Mazon of Eighty Four, Edward Mazon of Campbell, Ohio, and William Freier of Washington; three sisters, Joyce Watson of Bentleyville, and Edith Tate and Virginia Isherwood, both of Pittsburgh; a half sister, Loraine welch of Pittsburgh, and four grandchildren, Edward, Jewel, R.J. and Jacob Mazon.
Deceased is a sister, Shirley Munroe.
MAZON - Friends of Raymond R. (Bob) Mazon Sr. of Washington, who died Thursday, June 26, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, with the Rev. Larry Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
