Equipco Co. truck driver and custodian.
Clayton Lee Moore, 72, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born December 5, 1934, in Lone Pine, a son of William Henry and Dorothy Ann Waites Moore.
Mr. Moore was a truck driver and custodian at Equipco Co. for 151/2 years.
He served in the National Guard and was a member of Pulaski Club.
On April 1, 1975, he married Twila Mae Holmes Grandon, who survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons, David Grandon of Mt. Clemens, Mich., and Larry Grandon of Prosperity; three stepdaughters, Mary Hartzog of Washington, Elizabeth Bane of Eldersville and Louise Blanco of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; and two brothers, William Moore of Eighty Four and Donald Moore of Scenery Hill.
Deceased are a sister, Louraine Talbot, and a stepson, Robert Grandon.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, with Pastor Floyd Marasco officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
