Harold Dunbar McDonald, 71, of Washington died Tuesday, June 16, 2003 in the Donnell House. He was born on September 5, 1931 in Buffalo Village, a son of James Paul and Ida Mae McDaid McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School. He was self employed in the real estate industry. Mr. McDonald was a member of The Church of the Covenant. He was also a member of the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175, L.O.O.M. # 22, V.F.W. # 927, Alpine Club, and the Arms Club.
On April 11, 1975 he married LaDonna Joan Pavlik who died on June 5, 1991. He is survived by a son, Robert Chirko of Berwin, Ill; two daughters, Roberta Chirko and Katrina K. King, both of Indiana; a brother, Eugene T. McDonald of Cherokee, OK.
He is preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister Romaine Manley.
