Longtime member of Post 175 dartball team
Mildred (Midge) Keirs Lyle, 75, of Washington, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003, in Washington Hospital.
She was born January 18, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of Allan M. and Clarice Dicks Keirs.
Mrs. Lyle was Protestant.
She was formerly employed by Bell Telephone and Brockway Glass Plant 11.
Mrs. Lyle was a member of Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 dartball team for 40 years.
She was a 1945 graduate of Trinity High School, Washington.
On October 1, 1949, she married William A. Lyle, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William A. Lyle Jr. of Washington and Lee W. Lyle of Bakersfield, Calif.; a brother, Allan M. Keirs Jr. of Washington; three sisters, Helen Faust, June Beck and Eleanor Westcott, all of Washington; and two grandsons, Derek Lyle and Lee Lyle Jr.
LYLE - Friends of Mildred (Midge) Keirs Lyle of Washington, who died Saturday, May 31, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, with the Rev. James Inghram officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
