Gladys Louise Wright

Van driver for aging services Gladys Louise Wright, 68, of Washington, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 15, 1934, in Washington, a daughter of Julius and Grace Noble Moore. Mrs. Wright was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and was last employed as a van driver for Washington County Aging Services. Surviving are a son, Harry R. Ankrom Jr. of Washington; two daughters, Grace E. Ankrom and Debbie L. Donkin, both of Washington; a stepdaughter, Carol Sue Hewitt of Washington; a sister, Mildred Allen of Washington; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Larry W. Ankrom; a brother, Donald Moore; and a great-grandson. WRIGHT - Friends of Gladys Louise Wright of Washington, who died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, with Pastor David Falvo officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
