Elenora May Woodburn

Elenora May Woodburn, 84, of Washington, died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2004, in her home, following a five-month illness. She was born April 17, 1920, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of Augustus and Catherine Poole Johnston. Mrs. Woodburn was a homemaker and a member of the ladies auxiliary of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion. She enjoyed her grandchildren and cooking. Surviving are four sons, Ralph Colbert of Pittsburgh, James Colbert Sr. of Washington, Dennis Colbert Sr. of Bentleyville and John Colbert Sr. of West Alexander; four daughters, Gloria Woulitich of Washington, Catherine Colbert of Medina, Ohio, Carolyn Bruno of Lawrence and Sherry Harrington of Washington; a daughter-in-law, Ethel Colbert of Washington; two brothers, James Johnston of Library and Augustus Johnston of Finleyville; three sisters, June Johnston and Catherine Anthony, both of Bethel Park, and Dolores Dosse of Venetia; 31 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and her companion, Joseph Rosmon. Deceased are two sons, Charles and David Colbert; and a sister, Lillian Johnston. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 22, with Capt. Daniel Hazeldine officiating. Interment in Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Eighty Four.
