Grace Rogers Longstreath, 74, of Washington, died at 8:25 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2003, in her home.
She was born April 24, 1928, in Grafton, W.Va., a daughter of Lawrence and Bessie Morgan Rogers.
Mrs. Longstreath attended First Christian Church of Washington.
She had been employed for 36 years by Hazel-Atlas Glass, Continental Can and Brockway Glass in Zanesville, Ohio, from which she retired.
Mrs. Longstreath was a former president of Local Glass Blowers & Bottlers Association 66 and was a member of Women of the Moose.
On November 6, 1948, she married George Longstreath, who died January 30, 1986.
Surviving are a son, George "Skeeter" Longstreath Jr. of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Nancy Stevens of Washington; a brother, William Rogers of Washington; a sister, Doris Garner of Washington; two grandchildren Amy Plum and J.R. Stevens; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Thomas Rogers; and three sisters, Virginia Gorby, Roberta Lewis and Frances Leigh.
LONGSTREATH - Friends of Grace Rogers Longstreath of Washington, who died Monday, March 10, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, with the Rev. Paul Leone officiating. Interment will be in Claysville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the youth group of First Christian Church in Washington.
