Donetta June Clemens, 77, of Washington, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born January 29, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of Earl Oglebay and Sarah Jane Phillips Clemens.
Mrs. Clemens was employed as a unit clerk at Washington County Health Center, Washington, for 14 years, retiring November 3, 1990.
She was a member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, AARP and National Geographic Society.
Mrs. Clemens was a 1943 graduate of Washington High School and attended Bethany (W.Va.) College for one year.
She was twice married.
She divorced her first husband, John Randolph.
On February 20, 1954, she married Robert Clemens, who died May 20, 1976.
Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Edward Clemens of Washington and David Lee Clemens of Seneca; a sister, Beulah Irene (Billie) Dinsmore of Pembroke, Fla.; four grandchildren, Joshua Adam and Joseph Alan Clemens, Misty Michelle Harvey and Jason Lee Clemens; and a great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a brother, Harold Lee Clemens.
CLEMENS - Friends of Donetta June Clemens of Washington, who died Saturday, March 8, 2003, will be received from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Donnell House or North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
