Earl R. Harris

Self-employed carpenter Earl R. Harris, 91, of Washington, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2003, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. He was born September 22, 1911, in Webster County, W.Va., a son of Lloyd and Louise Barnett Harris. Mr. Harris was a self-employed carpenter. On April 19, 1941, he married Deva Mae Largent, who survives. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased are six brothers, Lanty, Branty, Guy, Emery, Arley and Clay Harris. HARRIS - Friends of Earl R. Harris of Washington, who died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
