Loretta Rose Cavanah, 61, of Washington, formerly of Carnegie, died
Tuesday, June 15, 2004. She was born on December 22, 1942 in
Lawrenceville, PA, a daughter of Frank and Ruth Meyers Donofrio. Mrs.
Cavanah worked as an administrative assistant at Union Electric Steel
for 20 years, and sold Avon for many years. She was a graduate of
Peabody High School and attended Point Park College. Mrs. Cavanah was
catholic and enjoyed arts, painting, drawing, bingo and sports and she
collected owls.
Surviving are 5 sons, Paul J. Cavanah of Chicago, Michael P. Cavanah of
Alaska, Christopher J. Cavanah of Pittsburgh, David B. Cavanah of
Norfolk, VA and Timothy R. Cavanah of Philadelphia; 3 sisters, Sandra
Holland of Louisville, KY, Viola Anderson of Pittsburgh and Patricia
Michalsky of Russia and 6 grandchildren, Paul J., III, Courtney, Michael
P., Jr., Kirsten, Luke R. and Madison Cavanah.
Friends of Loretta Rose Cavanah of Carnegie who died Tuesday, June 15,
2004, will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2004, in
William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA,
where services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., with
the Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn
Gardens.
