Country-western drummer was Army reservist
Clayton Jay Cox Sr., 42, of Washington, died at 3:25 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2003, in his home.
He was born December 26, 1960, in Washington, a son of Paul and Laura Engle Cox of Washington.
Mr. Cox was Catholic.
He was a country-western drummer for Blue Highway Band and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
Mr. Cox was a member of Lionsville American Legion Post and Jessop Club.
On May 24, 1990, he married Kathleen Snyder, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sons, Andrew Snyder and Clayton J. Cox Jr., both of Washington; two daughters, Brittany Cox of Washington and Presley Marie Cox of Lake Worth, Fla.; and a brother, Kurtis P. Cox of Claysville.
Vsitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM the time of services in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Rev. Thomas O'Neil officiating, interment will be private. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
