Kathryn W. Sorice

Member of Immaculate Conception Church Kathryn W. Sorice, 77, of Washington, died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2003, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born November 19, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of Charles and Kathryn Raipe Wyland. Mrs. Sorice was a 1944 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Washington. She worked in the office of Scott Motor. On January 31, 1953, she married Anthony Sorice, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, William L. Baxendell and Charles A. Sorice, both of Washington; and three grandchildren, William L. Baxendell Jr., Jody Lyn Sprowls and Kayla Marie Baxendell. Deceased are two brothers, John G. and Charles "Buddy" Wyland; and a sister, Wilda Ann Wyland. SORICE - Friends of Kathryn W. Sorice of Washington, who died Wednesday, February 26, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington. Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Nicholas Spirko officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
