Patricia M. Silfee

Patricia M. Silfee, 74, of Washington, died at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health. She was born September 16, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of Charles A. and Goldie McIntire Cook. Mrs. Silfee, a graduate of Stroudsburg High School, was a homemaker and a member of Washington Alliance Church. She enjoyed square dancing, knitting and needlework. On October 4, 1957, she married Nelson P. Silfee, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Paul B. (Maggie C.) Silfee of McMurray; a stepson, Keith M. (Sandy) Silfee of Robesonia; a daughter, Cynthia A. (Stephen M.) Moskal of Canonsburg; a brother, Charles A. Cook of Atwater, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Erin G. and Brian D. Silfee, Adam S. and Alison N. Moskal and Denise and Kyle Silfee. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, with the Rev. Clarence Croscutt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Alliance Church, Building Fund, 17 East Walnut St., Washington, PA 15301.
