Mary Frances Solomon

Member of Fourth Presbyterian Church Mary Frances Solomon, 84, of Washington, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, February 9, 2003, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. She was born February 3, 1919, in Hopewell Township, a daughter of Harry Lee and Marian Jane Stewart Leech. Mrs. Solomon was a homemaker and a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Washington. She enjoyed crafts, playing cards and bingo. On June 20, 1946, she married Abraham Solomon, who died July 29, 1971. Surviving are a son, Donald Abraham Solomon of Washington; two brothers, Donald Alexander and David Stewart Leech, both of Wheeling, W.Va.; and three grandchildren, April, Jacob and Caleb Solomon. Deceased are three brothers, John Ivan, Harry Lee Jr. and James Donnon Leech. SOLOMON - Friends of Mary Frances Solomon of Washington, who died Sunday, February 9 , 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, with the Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
