Buffalo Telephone Co. operator for 20 years
Hazel G. McDonald, 82, of Washington, died Thursday, February 6, 2003, in Washington Hospital.
She was born February 11, 1920, in Hopewell Township, a daughter of Hershel Simon and Sara May Travis McDonald.
Mrs. McDonald worked as a telephone operator for Buffalo Telephone Co. for 20 years.
She was a member of Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Keith W. Crowe of Washington and Thomas A. McDonald of Ash Grove, Mo.; six grandchildren, Scott A. and Tyler K. Crowe, Glenn Thomas, Bobbi Lou, Ethan and Molly McDonald; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are four brothers, J. Paul, R. Kenneth, John H. and Harry R. McDonald; and five sisters, Dorothy Patterson, Margaret McDonald, Florence Vorhes, Maxine McDonald and Betty Marrow.
McDONALD - Friends of Hazel G. McDonald of Washington, who died Thursday, February 6, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 10, with Pastor Floyd Marasco officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Buffalo Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
