Helen E. Cornetto

Member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church Helen E. Cornetto, 80, of Washington, died at 7:18 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2002, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. She was born October 27, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of George and Amanda Hendrickson McMullen. Mrs. Cornetto was employed by Washington Hospital for 11 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church, Washington. Mrs. Cornetto was a graduate of Washington High School. On May 29, 1941, she married Edward C. Cornetto Sr., who died October 31, 1974. Surviving are a son, Edward C. Cornetto Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Nancy Cornetto Comfort of Mountainview, Wyo.; two grandchildren, Dennis Wayne Cornetto and Kimberly Sue Wilson; two great-grandsons; and a niece. Deceased are a brother, Howard McMullen; and a sister, Grace Baumgardner. CORNETTO - Friends of Helen E. Cornetto of Washington, who died Friday, May 17, 2002, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, with the Rev. Thomas Logston officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
