Cinda Fern Schurr, 62, of Ellenton, Fla., formerly of Amity and Washington, died Saturday, June 4, 2005, in her home.
She was born October 29, 1942, in Amity, a daughter of Royal and Leona Hoover Sprowls.
Mrs. Schurr was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church in Amity and graduated from Trinity High School in 1960.
She worked at Washington Hospital as an x-ray technician for five years, was a barmaid at Alpine Club from 1986 to 1991, worked in retail sales in the clothing industry and was a jewelry consultant.
She married Randall J. Schurr of Ellenton, who survives. The couple resided in Washington before moving to Florida, where they lived since 1992.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lisa Jo Klette of Dayton, Ky.; three sons, Michael Truby of Washington, Robert Truby of Lake View, Ore., and Jon Truby of Sandusky, Ohio; a stepson, Tim Schurr of Ellenton; a brother, Gary Lynn Sprowls of Amity; a sister, Sandra Fien of Washington; and 12 grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11, with the Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating.
