Thomas G. Linton

Former supervisor for Cooper Industries Thomas G. Linton, 64, of Washington, died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2002, in his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born March 5, 1938, in Waynesburg, a son of Eleanor Kathleen Condit Linton of Washington and the late Thomas Milliken Linton. Mr. Linton was employed for 31 years with Cooper Industries, formerly McGraw-Edison, as a supervisor. In his youth, he was affiliated with Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church. Mr. Linton was a 1956 graduate of Trinity High School and also attended Point Park College. On December 27, 1963, he married Carol King, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Lindstrom of Chesapeake, Va., and Deborah Regan of Springfield, Va.; two sons, Thomas and Bryan Linton, both of Washington; three sisters, Nancy Miernicki of Ringtown, Karen Feeney of New Albany, Ohio, and Carol Riddle of Washington; and three grandchildren, Gustaf Thomas, Sara Jane and Lisa Ann Lindstrom. Deceased is a sister, Linda Sue Linton, who died in infancy. LINTON - Friends of Thomas G. Linton of Washington, who died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with Father John DiNello as celebrant, sharing with Pastor Gary Gibson. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded graveside by Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 in Washington.
