Clarksville man operated D.L. Manning Shows
Kenneth Charles Hixon, 79, of Clarksville, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, in Beverly Health Care, Waynesburg.
He was born May 13, 1923, in Canonsburg, a son of William James and Dorothy Mae Jones Hixon.
Mr. Hixon was a former member of Central Presbyterian Church of Washington.
He owned and operated D.L. Manning Shows, a carnival.
Mr. Hixon was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are a brother, Howard L. Jones of Coal Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, William W. Hixon; and a sister, Clara I. Simpson.
HIXON - Friends of Kenneth Charles Hixon of Clarksville, formerly of Washington, who died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, August 9, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment in Washington Cemetery will be private.
