Enid Susanna Webb Desantis

1943 Wash High graduate Enid Susanna Webb DeSantis, 78, of Biloxi, Miss., died at 6:20 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, in Biloxi Regional Hospital. She was born June 29, 1924, in McDonald, a daughter of Claude W. and Giulia Cunningham Holden. Mrs. DeSantis graduated in June 1943 from Washington High School. She was a member of Lady Hogue Rebecca Lodge and 50-year member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church. Mrs. DeSantis was a seamstress for a number of years. On September 23, 1948, she married Robert Keith Webb, who died October 28, 1981. On May 11, 1985, she married James DeSantis, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Darwin Keith Webb of Coraopolis; three daughters, Carol Sue Chopp of Toms River, N.J., Allison Dawn Beck of Washington and Robin Beth Kraeer of Biloxi; two brothers, Bert Holden of Calumet City, Ill., and Earl Holden of Washington; a sister, Alma Jean Salisbury of Corpus Christy, Texas; two stepchildren, James DeSantis of Aurora, Colo., and Susan Becker of Canonsburg; nine grandchildren, Matthew Chopp, Megan Lamb, Carmen and Riley Webb, Kami Griffin, Jason and Amanda Kraeer, Jeff and Jeremy Beck; four stepgrandchildren, James and Karen DeSantis, Lynn and John Welch; and six great-grandchildren. Deceased are a granddaughter, Holly Sue Chopp; two brothers, Claude and Frank Holden; and a sister, Manelva Williams. Private services will be held Saturday, May 17, with the Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., Washington. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, 357 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
