Barb Mansfield

Barb Mansfield, 65, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, in Donnell House, Washington, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 12, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Glenn and Gertrude Shaffer Malone. Mrs. Mansfield worked as a cook at Washington Park Elementary-Middle School, Burger King and the Alpine lunch bar. She was Catholic and attended Immaculate Conception and Washington high schools. Mrs. Mansfield was a member of Trinity Band Boosters for eight years and served on the executive board of Women's Bowling Association for several years. On July 11, 1964, she married Richard Mansfield, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Glenn Mansfield of Washington; three daughters, Trudy Wise, Stacey Mele and Tina McFall, all of Washington; a sister, Becky Anderson Dami of Buffalo Village; nine grandchildren, William R. and Toni Marie Mele, Heath and Lance DePaoli, John and Denise Wise, Lori Cuevas and Megan and Macy McFall; and four great-grandchildren.
