Emma Jane Maloy

Emma Jane Maloy, 65, of Washington, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, in the Washington Hospital following a six-week illness. She was born in Washington on July 13, 1939, a daughter of Frank “ Irish “ and Hazel Elizabeth Ebbert Maloy. Miss. Maloy was a graduate of Trinity High School and worked as a caregiver for more than 28 years at the Hazel Day Personal Care Home, in Washington. She had once attended Avery United Methodist Church. For more than 38 years, she has been active with local Ladies Dart Ball Leagues and is the current League President. She formerly played for the Jessop Club and the last several years has played for the Eagles in Washington. She enjoyed her grandchildren and helping her daughter coach T.W.I.S.T. at the Washington Park. Surviving are a daughter, Jodi Beck, wife of Brian, from Washington; two brothers, Henry Maloy of Herminage, Tennessee, and Ted Maloy of Washington; two grandchildren, Brenna and Balie Beck. Preceding her in death is a sister, Marie West. Friends of Emma Jane Maloy, 65, of Washington, who died Sunday, July 3, 2005, will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
