Employed at Green Valley Packing. Barbara Ann Hammett, 42, of Washington, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 1996, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 13, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of Margaret Mull Rogers of Washington, and the late John E. Rogers. Mrs. Hammett Was Protestant and attended Trinity High School. She had formerly been employed by Brockway Glass and was last employed by Green Packing Company. On September 5, 1970, she married Timothy J. Hammett, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John Jason, of Washington; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn, at home; a brother, Thomas Rogers, of Mentor, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Joann) Schuj, of Uniontown and Diane Rogers of Carlisle Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, with the Rev. H. William Dambach officiating. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
