Robert William Kaste

Graduate of Fort Cherry High School Robert William Kaste, 58, of Washington, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, in Tandem Health Care, North Strabane Township, following a three-month illness. He was born May 31, 1949, in Washington, a son of Arthur and Helen W. Kraeer Kaste. Mr. Kaste was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. He was a truck driver and formerly worked for GG&C Bus Co. Mr. Kaste enjoyed camping. He married Connie S. Pierrard, who died October 25, 2000. Surviving are a son, Arthur R. Kaste of Canonsburg; a daughter, Rose Marie Kaste of Canonsburg; three sisters, Lauretta Cummins of Beaumont, Texas, Ruth Stoskel of Washington and Dorothy Mills of Richmond, Va.; and a grandchild. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20, with the Rev. Ray Domachowski officiating, followed by burial in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
