Raymond N. "Tony" Cabb, Jr., 63, of Washington, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, following a lengthy illness. He was born on June 10, 1942, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond N. and Mary Jane Thomas Cabb, Sr. He was raised by his grandparents, Howard and Letitia Thomas and his aunt & uncle, Bud and Mabel Thomas. He was a graduate of Washington High School and served in the United States Army from 1960 - 1963. He was employed as a security guard at the George Washington Hotel. Mr. Cobb enjoyed music, especially oldies and the blues.
Surviving are two sons , Buddy Cabb of Utah, Anthony Cabb of Wheeling; two daughters, Nikki Cabb of Martins Ferry, Denise Cabb of New Mexico; four step-sons, Brian Parks of Columbus, Greg Parks of Elm Grove, and Michael Parks of Tiltonsville, Ohio, Erik Price of Atlanta, and Kelly Price of Bridgeport, Ohio; four step-daughters, Tricia Parks of Martins Ferry, Tanya Parks Elm Grove, and Tanya Price of Wheeling; a brother, Puggy Thomas of Washington; three sisters, Letitia Brandy Banks of Philadelphia, Patricia Jones of Washington, and Beatrice Thomas of Washington; as well as three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is Mabel Thomas, whom he considered a mother.
Preceding him in death is a sister, Mary Jane Landeros.
Friends of Raymond N. "Tony" Cabb, Jr., 63, of Washington, who died Sunday, July 3, 2005, will be received from 12-noon to 4 pm on Wednesday, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington where services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2005, at 4 pm. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Washington Cemetery.
