Robert Charles Paxton

Enjoyed playing dartball. Robert Charles Paxton Jr., 46, of Washington, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, in his home. He had been in failing health for a year. Mr. Paxton was born August 23, 1960, in Washington, a son of Robert Charles Sr. and Barbara Erdene Spragg Paxton of Washington. He was Presbyterian and formerly employed by Krogers. Mr. Paxton enjoyed reading, flowers, playing dartball and his dogs and cats. He was a 1979 graduate of Washington High School. Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Lynn (Allan) Bershok of Canonsburg; four uncles, Kenneth O. Paxton of Washington, Kenneth A. Spragg of Southview, Kevin A. Spragg of Canonsburg and Donald McElroy of Washington; an aunt, Luetta C. Jones of Washington; eight cousins, Kenneth Paxton, jr., Traci Emph, Heather Spragg, Kenneth Spragg, Jr., Charles Mull, Jr., Dawn Miles, Donna Lee Wisczar and William McElroy; a step grandmother, Patricia Spragg, and a brother in-law, Allen Bershok. His companion was Mary Noble. Deceased are grandparents, Orville C. Paxton, Marian E. Paxton, Kenneth A. Spragg, Sr., and Wilda E. Spragg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be in North Buffalo Church Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Claysville.
