Helen M. Storrick Solomon, 83, of Washington, died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in Washington Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Maria Jane Fenton Storrick.
Mrs. Solomon was a 1937 graduate of Washington High School and a member of Meadowlands United Methodist Church.
She retired from Washington County Treasurer's Office in 1986 after 22 years of service.
Mrs. Solomon was a charter member of McClane Farm Road Good Neighbor Club, and she enjoyed quilting.
On November 11, 1967, she married Samuel Charles Solomon, who died August 4, 1985.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis Ewing Minor and David C. Minor, both of Washington; three daughters, Janice Marie Anderson-Steinberg of Phoenix, Ariz., and Helen A. Minor and Elaine Knotts, both of Washington; a brother, Robert Storrick of Venetia; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a son, Robert Minor.
SOLOMON - Friends of Helen M. Storrick Solomon of Washington, who died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, with the Rev. Larry Leonard and the Rev. John Shaver officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
