Helen Kuzy Beverina

Helen Kuzy Beverina, 84, of Washington, died Sunday, December 23, 2007, in her residence. She was born March 13, 1923, in Washington, a daughter of Andrew and Anastasia Carmen Kuzy. Mrs. Beverina graduated from Trinity High School in 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. On October 17, 1948, she married Carl J. Beverina, who died June 13, 1993. Surviving are two daughters, Denise Beverina-Moore of McDonald, and Yvonne (Jim) Weaver of McMurray; and three grandchildren, Andrew Moore, Caitlin Moore and Scott Weaver. Deceased are a sister, Mary Balog; three brothers, John, Nicholas and Frank Kuzy; and a son-in-law, Timothy Moore. Friends will be received 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, in St. Hilary Church, with Rev. Thomas D. O’Neil as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. Memorial contributions may be made to The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal 475 E.
