Katherine Anna Anderson Heatley

Katherine Anna Anderson Heatley, 89, of Washington, died at 1:50 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2007, at Consulate Health Care, Canonsburg, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 21, 1918, in Washington, a daughter of Edward C. and Mary O. Moore Bennett. Mrs. Heatley was a private duty caregiver and also had worked at Washington Glass Company for thirty years. She was a member of Glenn Street Free Methodist church and enjoyed yard sales, collecting glassware and baking. Surviving are three daughters, Evelyn (Richard) Green, of Butler, Beverly Clark, of San Angelo, Texas, and Joyce (John) Bowser, of Reno, NV; a brother, Charles E. Bennett, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; two sisters, Gladys V. Elsleger, and Reva J. (Ron) Tritchler, both of Canonsburg; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Two husbands, John W. Anderson and Harry Heatley, preceded her in death. Also deceased are 2 sons, Clifford W. Anderson and John L. Anderson; a brother, Ralph J. Bennett, a sister, Evelyn R. Folkens, and two grandsons, Alan Anderson and Robert A. Green. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2007, with Pastor Bob Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, McMurray. The family suggests memorial contributions to Glenn Street Free Methodist Church, 690 Glenn Street, Washington, PA 15301.
