Nancy Margaret Morris Antel, 91, of Washington, died Friday, August 27, 2004, in Hillsview Rest Home, Claysville, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 24, 1913, in Wetzell County, W.Va., a daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Clark Morris.
Mrs. Antel was employed as a supervisor at G.C. Murphy Co. for seven years.
She was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Antel was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of South Strabane Township Fire Department 1 and a member of National Campers and Hikers Association, crochet club and card club.
On April 9, 1936, she married Thomas J. Antel, who died February 12, 1988.
Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Sprowls, Eileen Krepps and Eva Mae Byers, all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Michael and Thomas Sprowls, Kevin Krepps, Edward Krepps II, Pamela Cursi, Nancy Byers and Brenda Knight; and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Carl, Andy, John and Bob Morris; and three sisters, Ellen Yaho, Irene Posthelwait and Mary Morris.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 30, with the Rev. David A. Stammerjohn officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Memorial contributions may be made to Albert Gallatin Hospice or Laboratory Presbyterian Church.
