Julia Ann Kobuchi Folio, 92, of Washington, died at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2004, in Washington Hospital, having been in declining health.
She was born June 19, 1912, in Rocca Gloriosa, Salerno, Italy, a daughter of Bonaventura and Carmella Balbi Kobuchi.
Mrs. Folio was a homemaker. She enjoyed yard work and flower gardening.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
She attended Trinity High School.
On September 25, 1931, she married Peter Folio, who died July 20, 1973.
Surviving are two daughters, Rose Marie Sargent and Rita Yancosek, both of Washington; two grandchildren, John Yancosek and Julie Melone; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Louis Kobuchi and Alfred and Americo Cobucci; and a sister, Josephine Suraci.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, South Strabane Township.
