Anna Martha Miller Sim Spencer, 84, of Washington, died unexpectedly at 5:06 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born April 28, 1923, in Blaine Township, a daughter of William Garrett and Velma Pearl Grimes Miller.
Mrs. Spencer attended Trinity High School and was a homemaker.
On October 17, 1969, she married Beryl P. Spencer, who died January 9, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, William C. (Ima Jean) Sim of Pomeroy, Ohio, and John G. (Pamela) Sim of Avalon, Florida; two daughters, L. Susan Sim (David) Chrzan of Sarver, and Mary A. Angott of Washington; one brother, Thomas (Mary) Miller of Horsehead, New York; one sister, Patricia (Willis) Shriver of Taylorstown; grandsons, Peter McMillen, Michael Sim, Eric Sim, Andy Chrzan and Garrett Sim; granddaughters, Tabitha Horne, Isabella Angott and Heather Sim; great grandsons, Ben and Zack McMillen and great-granddaughter, Chloe Adams.
Deceased are two brothers, William Miller and John L. Miller; and two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Gertrude Griffith.
Friends will be received Monday, April 21st, from Noon to 2 and 4 to 6 p.m., the hour of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. David A. Stammerjohn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
