LoAnn Clark, 72, of Washington, died Friday, December 14, 2007, in Presbyterian Senior Care, following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 5, 1935, in Langeloth, a daughter of Frank Melvin Sr. and Dorothy Mounts Melvin.
For 20 years, Mrs. Clark worked at The Washington Hospital in the central supply department. She enjoyed watching game shows, collecting clocks, playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On December 30, 2000, she married Eugene D. Clark, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tom M. (Debra) Jordan and Bill F. Jordan, both of Washington; two daughters, Dottie M. Kesneck of Washington, and Cindy (Thomas) Dolan of Claysville; a brother, Frank Melvin, Jr., of Houston; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Kevin, Tommy, Amy, Scott, Jason and Stacey; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Samantha and David; and an aunt, Carol Atchison of Buffalo Village.
Deceased is a son, Dale W. Clark.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington City Mission, 84 West Wheeling Street, Washington PA 15301.
