Caroline Lattimore

Caroline Lattimore, 93, of Washington, died unexpectedly at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in the Washington Hospital. She was born September 16, 1913, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Antonio and Marie Carlebella Marone. Mrs. Lattimore worked as a cook in several local restaurants and enjoyed cooking, baking and gambling. She was Catholic by faith. On February 14, 1934, she married Eugene Cinelli, who is deceased. On November 2, 1953, she married John Laverne Lattimore, who died March 11, 1981. Surviving are a daughter Rosemarie Gilpin of Marianna; two grandchildren, Deborah Gilpin of Clarksville, and Harry J. Gilpin of Sharpsburg, Georgia; a sister, Rosina Santoleri of Italy; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Carmella Mercante. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Blessing Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Father William Feeney officiating. Burial will be held Saturday in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
