Loyce Elaine Barrow, 83, of Washington, died at 6:43 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2007, in Donnell House, Washington. She had been in declining health for five-and-a-half years.
She was born January 7, 1924, in Brownwood, Texas, a daughter of Annie L. Sherill.
Mrs. Barrow was a homemaker and was Protestant.
On August 14, 1942, she married Gerald Barrow, who died April 13, 1991.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald Thomas Barrow Jr. of Washington and John Edwin Barrow of Baldwin; a daughter, Linda Elaine Sanders of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Matthew T., Michael F., John P., James P., Jason A. and Jean M. Barrow; and a great-grandchild, Evan Barrow.
Deceased, in addition to her mother, is her father, Thomas O. Palomares.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, with the Rev. Ruth Simmons officiating.
Burial will follow at a later date in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
