Blanche Mansfield Baldwin

Blanche Mansfield Baldwin, 86, of Washington, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born September 15, 1917, in Houston, a daughter of William M. and Janet Brown Mansfield. Mrs. Baldwin was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church and Broad Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, reading and shopping. On November 12, 1939, she married Marion Kenneth Baldwin, who died May 24, 1999. Surviving are four grandchildren, John Baldwin, Donald Baldwin, Kirk Baldwin and Deanna Ratliff; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Donald J. Baldwin, William E. Baldwin and Robert K. Baldwin; a brother, William Mansfield; and three sisters, Dorothy Mansfield Meneely, Katherine Harvey and Louise Mansfield. BALDWIN - Friends of Blanche Mansfield Baldwin of Washington, who died Thursday, March 25, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, with the Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
