David Lee Martin

David Lee Martin, 49, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Oakland, following an eight-month illness. He was born August 23, 1958, in Washington, a son of Donald Roy Martin of Canton, West Virginia, and Lillian Hampson Martin of Canonsburg. Mr. Martin was a self-employed building contractor. He was a member of Calvary Temple and loved hunting, fishing, camping, watching the Steelers, and his dog, Lucky. His wife, Mabel Renz, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Maggie Remaley and Jennifer Pratt, both of Washington; two brothers, Don Martin of Canonsburg and Art Martin of Washington; six sisters, Penney Wagner, Shirley Denny, Jenney Taylor, Julie Frazier, Sherry Martin, and Ruth Chandler; and two grandchildren, Shane and Sindel “Lacey.” Deceased is a sister, Linda Sue Martin. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, December 1, 2007, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Brent Furlong officiating.
