Former township supervisor in Greene County
Harry E. Webster, 92, formerly of Graysville, died Friday, June 7, 2002, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.
He was born November 9, 1909, in Morris Township, Greene County, a son of Charles M. and Alice Powers Webster.
Mr. Webster was Protestant and a self-employed farmer.
He served on Morris Township School Board, was township supervisor for 11 years and had been a member of Morris Township Fire Department.
Mr. Webster was a 1928 graduate of Nineveh High School.
On June 23, 1928, he married Lucille Hart, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Marie Phillips of Prosperity, Betty Lightner and Phyllis Ullom, both of Washington; a sister, Catherine Dunn of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Sandra Marsteller, Randy and Stacy Phillips, Denise Ullom and Janet Devenney; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Anna Margaret Webster and Edith Webster; and a brother, Arthur P. Webster.
