U.S. Army veteran retired from McGraw-Edison
Russell E. "Bob" Doak, 71, of Washington, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 17, 1930, in Washington, a son of Russell and Blanche Maloy Doak.
Mr. Doak retired from McGraw-Edison, working for 20 years as a winder's helper.
He was a graduate of Washington High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.
On March 20, 1956, he married Dorothy Matay, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James Doak of Washington and Robert Doak of Taylorstown; and two grandchildren, Jimmy and Jesse Doak.
Deceased are a brother, Raymond Doak; a sister, Mildred Baker; and a niece.
