Cora Belle Keister, 84, of Washington, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, in Washington Hospital.
She was born August 8, 1918, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Eugene E. and Cora Thomas Crum.
Mrs. Keister had worked as a clerk/typist for Pennsylvania Department of Welfare until her retirement.
She was a member First Presbyterian Church of Jeannette and attended Fourth Presbyterian Church of Washington.
Mrs. Keister was a graduate of Swissvale High School and Duff Business School.
On November 3, 1939, she married Ralph W. Keister Sr., who died October 11, 1976.
Surviving are a son, Ralph W. Keister Jr. of Washington; three daughters, Arlene J. Chishko of Greensburg, Mary Elizabeth Siegfried of Ijamsville, Md., and Patricia Alice Tallman of Buckhannon, W.Va.; a sister, Edith Dudek of Squirrel Hill; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Eugene Packart Crum Jr.
KEISTER - Friends of Cora Belle Keister of Washington, who died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, with the Rev. Susan VandeKapple officiating. Interment will be in Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
