Margaret R. Lenco, 80, of Washington, died Friday, September 13, 2002, in Canonsburg General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 5, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of James and Rose Muhollan Adams.
Mrs. Lenco worked as a packer at Hazel-Atlas Glass in Washington and later worked at Tygart Valley Glass in Washington. After that, she worked at Angelo's Restaurant in Washington and last worked at the Observer-Reporter.
On October 20, 1951, she married John G. Lenco, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John D. Lenco of Lagonda and Mark A. Lenco, at home; a daughter, Catherine Lenco, at home; a brother, James Adams of Alhambra, Calif.; a sister, Sister Mary Bridgid of Monsey, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jackie and Adrienne Lenco.
Deceased is a sister, Mary Ellen Nordquist.
LENCO - Friends of Margaret R. Lenco of Washington, who died Friday, September 13, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, in St. Hilary Church, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas O'Neill as celebrant. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
