John Alexander Woloszyn, 88, of Washington, died Sunday, July 7, 2002, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a one-month illness.
He was born February 8, 1914, in Washington, a son of Anthony and Nellie Tabor Woloszyn.
Mr. Woloszyn was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church and Pulaski Club.
He was employed by Universal Cyclops of Bridgeville. Prior to that, he had been employed by Jessop Steel and McWreath Dairy.
On May 28, 1938, he married Antoinette Luginski, who died April 17, 1993.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ward and Patricia May, both of Washington; two sisters, Lottie Woloszyn and Irene Woloszyn, both of Washington; five grandchildren, Alison Gregg, Amy Miller, James Ward, Wendy May and Beth May; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Caroline Jones.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Services will be private, followed by interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd.
