Kathy L. Melchert

Kathy L. Melchert, 54 of Washington,PA, died Thursday, November 28,2002 in Canonsburg Hospital unexpectedly. She as born in Allegheny County, August 18,1948 the daughter of the late Charles Newton and Rita Newton of Philadelphia. She had worked as Resident Manager for Kusturiss Enterprises for 20 years. She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. On December 24,1982 she married Rodney Melchert who survives. Also surviving are ; Two sons, Kenneth Hershberger of Houston and Scott Hershberger of Ingomar; Two step-daughters, Juanita Black of Tuscon,Arizona and April Melchert of Pittsburgh; a brother Bill Newton of Philadelphia; a sister Darlene Gerstal of Chino, California; a grandchild Heather Hershberger and step-grandchild Samantha Black.
